MVM & EXCHANGE 4y4 was a five-day exchange taking place in the Natural environment of the Barruecos, the Museum Vostell Malpartida and the town of Malpartida de Cáceres. The exchange is between the Spanish artists Yolanda Pérez Herreras, Daniel Franco, Isabel León and Ana Matey and the Norwegian artists Franzisca Siegrist, Ida Grimsgaard, Inger-Reidun Olsen and Elisabeth Færøy Lund.
MVM & EXCHANGE 4y4 is a site specific performance, the work made in dialogue between the eight artists in relation to the natural, museum and rural space, reflecting on the environment, the people and the work of Wolf Vostell himself.
The work reflects upon the natural surroundings of Los Barruecos, and the meaning of the Museum Vostell Malpartida itself; Its history and its meaning within the history of contemporary world art.
