The Unknown and Each Other

The performance was created and performed as part of RITUALER 2024, on 22 September at Oslo Teatersenter.
In “The Unknown and Each Other,” LATERNA invites you to taste spagyric elixirs (plant alchemy) from various places in Norway and abroad, where they have created performative responses. By letting the plants lead the way, LATERNA takes the audience on a meditative and sensory journey with sound, movement, gentle touch, and togetherness — a meeting with the unknown, through LATERNA’s own practices
As part of RITUALER 2024, two other performance works were presented in addition to LATERNA’s performance:
“A-project #15” by A-PROJECT features visual artist Eivind Reierstad together with Brazilian Tribal Fusion belly dancer Alexandre Guimarães.
“Life Chants” by AURORA SANDLILJE, an Oslo-based artist working with visual art, performance, music, and text.
